This is how you export the configuration of a device.

Prerequisite

• ValConnect installed on a Laptop
• A USB cable connecting the device and laptop
• 24VDC power to the device

ValConnect - IHP24 / IDC24-A(F) / IDC24-CF

On devices that support the configuration page, you can use this method to save the configuration. For other devices, use the advanced page instead.

1. Start ValConnect
2. Select "Configuration"
3. Select "Save"
4. Select where to save the file and click "Save"

ValConnect - Advanced page

3. Select "Save"
4. Select where to save the file and click "Save"

ValConnect - ILB24

1. Start ValConnect
2. Select "Advanced"
3. Select "Save"
4. Select where to save the file and click "Save"

ValConnect - Version 1

1. Start ValConnect
2. Click Connect and select the device
3. Wait a few seconds while the configuration is being read from the device
4. Click "Export config file"
5. Select where to save the file and click "Save"
